Saturn Vue's interior is clever and versatile and continues to improve with higher quality materials. Performance puts the Vue among the quickest in its class and makes for a refined powertrain. Saturn stands out with its unique styling. The best thing about the Vue is that it's backed by Saturn's highly regarded sales and service people. You should expect them to be friendly and easy to work with. Overall great car for great price and very fuel efficient!

This is Vivian. Today I'll be reviewing my 2005 Saturn Vue. What I love about this car besides the fact that it's very fuel efficient we got 29 miles per gallon for highway and 23 for the city. And with the way gas prices are now it's very very affordable to have. We have the four-wheel drive standard transmission in silver as you can see and I will go over some of the basic things that we get with this car. Power sunroof power locks with alarm system. Power windows mirrors auto light control which is really good you know sometimes you forgot to turn the lights on; the car does it for you. It has a sensor that as soon as it starts getting dark it'll turn the lights on for you automatically. It has cruise control nap lights auto dimming display has an AM It's very comfortable to be in as well. One of the things that I liked about it is since I have personally no sense of direction at all. If you look up here in the mirror when you turn the lights on it automatically tells you the temperature and also what direction you're heading west east north and south. The panel over here is very simple. You got your cruise control buttons right here very easy to set. You just hit it once that little yellow light comes on and then accelerate with these buttons and then just set it in you're set to go when you're on the highway. One additional feature that I also like very much is once you start driving it's auto locked. It locks all four doors and you have to manually take it off to be able to get out of the car. Unless you turn the car off. You got your windshield wiper control is right here. These are your directionals and this is the windshield wipers over on this side. Radio very basic radio you know you got your basic radio and then the CD area for it. You have a lot of storage areas such as this which I used for CDs 'coz they fit in here perfectly. You got this one down here and then there's another hidden one which I don't really use at all 'coz it's kind of inconvenient but you know I keep an extra pair of sunglasses in there. We got here two cup holders right here. The only part about this area that I don't like is there's this other additional spot right here where I keep pens in here but when you let the hand break down and you need to get a pen for whatever reason this can get in the way. I think this would've been a lot better if it had been on this side. One thing that was hard to get used to in the beginning is that your window controls are actually here in the center console. So it's not on the door. It takes a little time to get used to. A good feature is that you've got back window locks so if like I said if you have kids you can just lock them and the windows even if they try will not go down. The back windows most cars with kids the window usually goes to about there. This window can go all the way down so I think you know if you have kids the back window should be half way. In the back of the car you've got space right here for magazines if you have children to keep kids entertained while you're driving. It's got and an additional space holder here and an additional socket right here for you know the kids' games or whatever it is that you need a cigarette lighter adaptor. You got these two cup holders that actually goes to be out of the way. The back is actually very roomy as you can see you got plenty of leg room and the seats are very comfortable. It's good for our family. We're a small family of three but if you have more kids it's probably not the best way to go since you can see how much room the car seat takes up. It does have child lock system on the back doors. You use your key and just turn this and the kids can't get out unless you open the door form the outside so they're kind of locked in the car for the meantime. The back is very spacious; it's good for cargo hauling you know bicycles clothes if you're having a beach if you're heading out the beach to the pool whatever it's very spacious. I like that you have these two compartments here on this side on both sides. We keep you know on the one side one of our kids pool toys and lunches you know random knick knacks on the other side. It also has a grocery cart thing that you kinda assemble if you go grocery shopping a lot. I guess this is a good thing. Very easy to put together keeps your bags so that your groceries aren't rolling all over the place. I never use this so for me it's a waste of space I guess. But you know it's there for people who like to use it. This has its own jack as most cars do very easy you just take the panel off and it's actually attached with Velcro so it's not like it's gonna you know have it running all over the place. It's actually underneath here. This is actually also with Velcro so you just basically take this whole thing apart. When I had my first flat tire this is a tire that you can't just come and lift out of the car it's actually a little tricky. You have to unscrew this whole thing with one of the pieces that comes with the jack and then you can lift out the tire. Because as you can see right now I can't lift it out. You have to undo this so that's something to keep in mind to look into. Other than that it's very easy to change the tire I did it so if I did it anybody else can. If you need a little more room say put one of your bicycles in there it's very easy to make room. This just put straight down both of these do obviously have the car seats so I can't do that with this one. It flips down and then also the front seat passenger side flips completely straight down and it makes mostly a little table so if you have a laptop it fits right here perfectly where it's not gonna be sliding all over the place. It's got a little ridge on the sides to hold that. So you got plenty of cargo room if you needed it. All in all I think this is a great car. It's very fuel efficient. If you have one child like we do it's great space saving. It's a good SUV that you can get for the price and I haven't had any trouble with it. It is probably a really good investment. We really enjoyed it. If you're looking to expand your family I don't know how tight you wanted it to be like I said there really isn't that much room in the seats to have two car seats in there but overall it's a great car. I love my Saturn.
