In 1993 I saw a topless Nissan 300ZX parked on Padre Island. I wonder if the seven year old me would recognized that car sucessor. This Nissan 350Z is certainly bulges larger than ever before but depending on equipment it's usually lighter. The three strokes that formed the letter Z are reverently represented by three dots that add texture to door grips surfaces and switch gear. The seats contrast perforation and stitching will certainly catch eyes but the Z's details are not simply aesthetic. Gauges tilt with the stirring wheel and sharing a clear line of sight to vital information. I programmed the up shift light to remind me to behave out on the open road. But not every detail has been carefully considered an antique seven segments LCD shouts at you in all capitals. It doesn't even bother to scroll radio data system information you've got to keep clicking the information button to get the data you need. RDS is insolvent in this application.
