One of my favorite books A Good Walk Spoiled by John Feinstein and I'm gonna start off by reading a 1st passage of the book that I loved most great way to start up a book. Chapter one is called The Only time your legs ever shake don't throw up that line had occurred to Davis loved the 3rd on more than one occasion during his golf career only this time it was different to love throw up was lot a literal term. It was part of the golf vernacular as in I was one shot off the lead with 4 holes left and then I threw up all over myself nurse take over. And that's really what the book's about and the way that the book flows. The book really captures the feeling that professional golfers have. It looks at the most famous golfers that we've all heard about to some of those pros that are trying to make the tour and you really feel like you're there you feel like you're making a decision which club did you use and you could feel the wind at your back. It's really pretty inspiring in as a golf aficionado I loved it I think it's a great father's day gift. The book is a little bit on the long side so it's close to 500 pages but the good news is that there are lots of little stories in there so if you put the book down for a week you can easily pick it up a week later so John Feinstein A Good Walk Spoiled I loved it I highly recommend it.

Summary
On those magnificent days on which your drives split the fairway down the middle and your wedge shots leave you putting for birdie, you think: "I wonder if I could do this for a living." After all, guys in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s, guys no one heard of until recently, are making planeloads of money on the various golf tours (and buying private planes to take them from one big-money tournament to the next). A Good Walk Spoiled is a bit of a reality check. John Feinstein chronicles the struggles of the top golfers in the game, as well as those trying to get onto the PGA Tour. These are gifted players who've devoted their lives to the game, and on any given day they could just flat out stink. A Good Walk Spoiled is a completely engaging book from first page to last, a wonderfully observed and masterfully told story of pain and profit in the world's most frustrating sport.
