Hi I'm going to review this movie for you. It is A Walk to Remember starring Mandy Moore and Shane West. It is based on the book of the same name by Nicholas Sparks. This movie first came out in 2002 and is about an hour and 40 minutes long. This story is about two high school students who are very different. Mandy Moore plays the character of Jamie who is a preacher's daughter who is the perfect little good girl in school. She volunteers at the orphanage. She sings in the choir. She doesn't wear makeup she's very plain and always carries her Bible. Landon (played by Shane West) on the other hand is one of the cool kids. He is constantly in trouble. He drinks. He wrecks his car. He finds himself more than once in the principal's office and in trouble. Their paths cross and it's interesting to see what kind of an effect Jamie would have on Landon and how their lives become intermingled. It's a very good love story. It is appealing to young people because of the stars. It's appealing to me because I read the book by Nicholas Sparks. I actually prefer the book better because it was based in a different time frame. It was based in the 1950s where this movie is based in the present day. But I do think it's a very good love story; it's a very sweet story and I highly recommend it.
