I compare the ASG Pocket Torch to the standard BIC-style flame lighter
ExpoTV has thousands of reviews from people just like you!
Hi, I'm Nicholas, and right now you'll be seeing my review of the ASG Pocket Torch. This is what it looks like. It's got a spot on the bottom, right in the middle where you can refuel it with butane. Sustain your butane torch. What you can do is you push down the button to start it. The cap flips open, push down farther. The torch starts. This is a nice flame. You can put it upside down any direction. It won't go back up at your hand. There is a switch here that you can, if you have the flame turn on, you turn the switch on, just let go, you just leave it, leave it on without having to keep holding down the button, which is quite nice. Eh -- another good thing about this is it burns extremely hot. I've actually melted pennies with this. I want to test how hot it could get so it can at least melt the zinc in the penny. I'm not if you can melt the copper. And now I'll compare this to the standard generic flame lighter and it looks like that. Okay. And there is first the blower test. I will be blowing on it, while I try to light it. -- Does not work with this. Now, let's try the torch. -- It doesn't go out. It flickers a little bit but it does not go out. Okay let's try a heat test. Let's see what I have around here. Here's a little piece of plastic that I found. Not sure what it is for. Let's try to light it -- with -- the generic BIC-type lighter. -- See if we can melt it. -- Okay, it's smoking a little bit. Nothing's happening. Now let's try it with the Pocket Torch. -- Let's set it down. Okay, this thing went on fire anyway, look at -- huge flame from it. Pocket Torch is faster, better, more reliable and hotter than your standard lighter. It doesn't cost that much more. Completely refillable. Just get a butane refill. That was my review of the ASG Pocket Torch.
