Hey Expo TV viewers. Gadget Guy here again with another great product review. This time it's the AT&T 5.8 GHz cordless phone model number E5915B. This is a great cordless phone. One of the reasons I purchased it was because of all the options that the phone has. It has a built-in speaker phone. It'll hold 50 names and numbers in memory. It also has a two-line caller ID. If you have a name or number stored in memory it will actually pull that information up and kind of match it up so you basically know who's calling. It has a jack on the side of the phone in case you wanna use a headset. It does light up at night so you can see what you're dialing. Just press any button first. It does have a flash feature. It also has a mute feature which is great for the home workers that want us to participate in let's say a conference call and yet don't want to be heard on the other end. So that is a great feature as well. Let me show you the two bases and we'll go from there. Okay here we are at the main base station. This cordless phone system comes with two handsets. This is the main base station handset and there's another one that I'll show you here in just a few moments. This base station only requires a phone line connected to it. The other base station communicates with this one wirelessly. As you can see the red light on there indicates that the phone is in the base and is charging. To the right of that there is a second light which actually shows you when the phone is in use. Here is a button that you can press that'll actually locate the other handset in case you get lost. And if you do subscribe to a voice mail service. There is a light here in the front as well that will indicate that you have a new voice mail. Pretty cool setup. This handset is basically like the one I showed you at first. Let me show you around here a little bit. On the back there is a speaker. When you use speaker phone very easy to hear. It's a very loud speaker as well. On the side here we have our volume up and down button. And as you can see here there's an inset on either side of the phone for that way you can use a belt clip that does come with the phone. Also on the display here you may or may not be able to see this but it says bedroom. You can program what room you want to keep the phone in so that way the phone does make it back to the base station that you would like it in. It's not required but it is a nice little feature. As you can see the buttons are very easy to read. Also like a said if I hit this you can see it light up. This button down here at the bottom is a speaker phone button and if you need to turn that on or off you just hit the button down here at the base. Let me show you the other base handset. Here we are at the second base station handset. As you can see the phone is exactly the same. All the same features and you can see that I have it labeled differently this one says kitchen phone so I know that this one always goes in the kitchen charger. The base station itself is quite simple. It's basically just to charge a phone in another room that doesn't have a phone line. As you can see it only has a spot to go in the bottom for power cord. Also it does have spots in the back that if you want to hang it on the wall you can do so. My review of this phone is that it's a very good quality phone. It's well built being that it's 5.8 GHz it's one of the main reasons that I purchased this phone because I didn't want it to interfere with my wireless network so it is wireless network friendly. On a Gadget Guy scale of one to ten I'd give this phone a nine. Thanks a lot. Hope you buy it.
