Air Alert Vertical Jump Program

This program does a nice job of explaining and demonstrating everything but the time commitment becomes prohibitive as you progress.

Hello I'd like to talk about the Air Alert Vertical Jump Program DVD for a minute. This is a workout DVD for athletes that want to gain vertical jump and they claim that you can increase your vertical jump by 8 to 14 inches. It comes with thin instructions both quick and it covers their general philosophy and some of the facts behind how to get better at jumping and also it gives you workout schedule and then there's some illustrations here and some explanations of the workout that you'll be doing. So let's take a look at the DVD. As you can see here this DVD sort of the year towards basketball players some sexual of the most vertical games out there but I think follow up like to benefit from having explosive vertigo followed by players its about players playing anybody. [Background DVD clip playing]. So like the DVD says this is about weight training it's about repeated jumping and they feel like that's kind of the problem with the program that I had. Its starts all pretty easy in the first few weeks you do -- there's six different exercises and you do have few raps of each and anywhere from 15 to 100 raps depending on the exercise but as you progress it becomes well harder and harder and its to be expected with any workout program but it gets to the point where the workout time just takes too long so for instance in the beginning you will do a workout called lift ups with a two sets 20 raps each. At the end of the program you're doing 8 sets 50 raps each so now you're doing ten times as many and it takes 10 times as long to complete it. Calf raises you go from 2 sets 10 raps to5 sets 40 wraps that's 10 times as much again. Burnout you go from one set of 100 raps to rather ridiculous 5 sets of 300 raps. Now you are doing 15 times as much as you did during the first start so the workout chart and they emphasized that you need to follow the workout chart precisely and do not add repetitions or adds sets or change them in anyway so the first technique less than an hour to complete the workout. It probably took me again 30 minutes but I guess with stretching and everything it took a bit longer and towards the end there you know I never got to the end but midway through it just taking too long so if you really have to command to stick with they program as they prescribed and I think you will probably see some good gains. You don't really need any equipment for it all yo need is a chair like that I have shown for doing some of the steps of exercises and its good to have a ball for balance for somebody at the rest of the exercise that they show you. Effective DVD and the workout book to nice job of explaining the workout and they show you exactly how to do it and how not to do it. It just takes too much time though. Thanks a lot for my video opinion of Air Alert.
