Hi I'm Erin and I'm here today to do a review for you of a movie in movie theaters and that's Alvin and the Chipmunks and Alvin and the Chipmunks is a children's movie and it is based on the very famous cartoon characters of Alvin and Chipmunks Alvin and his brother Simon and his other brother Theodore. And this movie is a combination between computer animation on the part of the chipmunks and live action for the rest of the film. Jason Lee is also in the film and you might know him from My Name is Earl which is a show on NBC and he's very good comedic actor and he does a pretty good job of interacting with the chipmunks who obviously is not really there because it's computer animated And I took my kids to see it and you know when you take your kids to see the movie generally you're just doing it for their sake but I was surprised to find out that it was actually extremely well done. It had a very coherent story line it had a very definitive plot and the animation you know these days they can do so much with computers and the animation was just really spot on. And very very believable chipmunks. And they do some of their famous songs the Christmas song is obviously probably one of the most famous one and the one you would hear a lot this time of the year and they do a sort of a new version of it kinda Backstreet Boys kinda version of the song. And it's really cute and my kids certainly enjoyed the movie. I have a 10-year-old I also have an 8-year-old and I have a 5-year-old and all of them uniformly thought the movie was hysterical. They've been singing the song for a couple of days. And so I think that if you have a young child who may be familiar with Alvin and the Chipmunks as much as we are as older people then they might enjoy going to see the movie. So I do recommend it and that's Alvin and Chipmunks. Thank you.
