Does the PSP analog controller become loose after a lot of use? I heard that it can eventually fall off or sometimes break really easily.
I have had mine for 2 years and it stil works like new, so I don't know where you heard that they break easy, but that hasn't been my experience.
I have the same problem of a stuck analogue stick and it kinda feels funny, almost as if there's no more spring, and it faces resistance moving around the up down axis. It gets stuck in the "down" position most of hte time, although recently it is starting to get stuck "up" as well.
I used to jiggle it a bit and it gets unstuck, but recently, it is getting worse, easier to get stuck, and harder to get unstuck.
I've seen some tutorial videos online about the disassembly of the stick - would this help? I note that the author said that the stick must be parallel to the top when putting it back.
This appears to be my problem, as I notice that my stuck problem usually occurs when the stick is rotated such that it is no longer parallel (in the heat of gaming for example).
Sometimes, jiggling it and rotating it at the same time fixes the problem - although this is becoming more and more difficult nowadays.
just take care of it. don`t thrash it around or drop the psp its self. if eventually it does fall off there is probably a way to fix it online.
