Hi, I would like to share my experience and views on this DVD player. This is a Astar 3100 DVD Player. I recently purchased it for $30 and would highly recommend it. This has all the features usually found on premium players such as Progressive Scan with Component Video Output for Enhanced definition on a DTV, Optical Digital Audio output for a Surround Sound system, a Full-Function Remote Control and Multi-voltage power capability. This model has a nice sleek design and it automatically look the program. This has a NTSC and PAL system that allows you to use the player in United States, Europe and Asia. It is compatible with DVD, VCD, DVCD, CD-R/W and Kodak picture CD. I would say this DVD player is highly satisfactory and I would give a four star.
