This is a great baby carrier that can be use with babies from 7 pounds up to about 20 pounds from 21 up to about 35 inches. Now the Baby Bjorn is really easy to put on first have the straps here they just go around your arms and they cross from the back. Once you have the straps over your arm there are some buttons things here that click in and then you just pull to tightness and I am not a small person and this are the right yard or length straps. They do sell extra long straps for people who maybe larger. is done you slide either side in and then you can either have it up here like this if your baby is facing you or you fold this portion down if your baby is facing out and just snap this on. It's really easy and in a moment I will show you how to do up with the baby. Now Lucy here is on the big end of the Baby Bjorn factor. Now she weights just about 20 pounds but I will show that this can be done with a big baby. She is about 28.5 inches tall. So she is pretty long and she will be one in about a month so this could be use from the time she was a tiny baby all the way until almost her first birthday and you can see very easily she snaps in and I do that all by myself and we are ready to go and she can go for a ride and she still love the Baby Bjorn. She is a little bit large now so it does give me a little bit of back pain if I carry her for too long but she still fits pretty comfortably. As far as baby carriers go the Baby Bjorn isn't cheap. You'll spend usually at least $80 on one and it's just the base model they do offer higher and comfort sport-type models but this is just the basic Baby Bjorn and I can tell you it was worth every penny that I spent on it. I have this particular model for four years now and it still looks --what looks good. It washes up easily. It works some gray. It's worthwhile with all three of my babies and i just love it. It's very supportive. I never was worry that baby would fall out or that the straps or anything would give way and I just think its great investment definitely worth the money to have a high quality baby carrier. If you plan on wearing your baby around you don't wanna have to use a stroller this is definitely a must have baby item and this is the Baby Bjorn.
