Hello this is Ashley and today I am reviewing the Baby Trend Car Seat as you see here. This has a lot of neat features we like it a lot and rough about we will talk about stuff on the side. This right here is a seat angle adjustment that lets you know if you have got the car seat attached properly so it is good to see there. You have also got five-point harnessing system here by the shoulders catches in the center here with these and then you have got this portion in the bottom where these two straps meet together to fit into here. So it keeps the child very secure and very safe. It has also got a canopy attachment that goes across the top to keep the sun out of the baby s face and then you see also that it attaches into a base unit here and I will show you how that works. You basically on the front here pull up and the car seat comes out. Now it is hard to do one-handed so pull it out there and you could see the base that the car seat attaches into. Now this uses the latch system here. If you can see right here these bars attach with a metal clip onto some bars that are built into the car seats. Most cars these days come with the latch system and this attaches to it very well. There is one here and one on the other side. If your car does not have the latch system then you can use the seatbelt attachment and just pull it across over here into here and then attach it to the car seat as well. So even if you wanted a little extra protection you can do that. So it is not going to go anywhere if you have got it installed correctly with or without the latch system. So as you can see it does not move - it is very sturdy. Right here on the front is a turn attachment here that will adjust the height of this system to make sure that you get a level. A minute ago I showed you the red indicator that shows if you have got the thing angled properly. That is another system that enables you to make sure that you have got the car seat installed correctly. So this has been the Baby Trend Car Seat. Five out of five stars great product it is reviewed very highly on consumer reports and other websites and very good if you are having a newborn.
