Hi I would like to review this DVD set for you. It's the Band of Brothers the HBO miniseries presented by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. Band of Brothers is a story of a World War II unit called Easy Company part of the 101st Airborne Division and the circumstances and events that they lived through in World War II. Interesting things to me about this DVD set are that they had interviews with the real people. It is based on a true story actual events that happened that these men experienced. They parachuted into France on D-Day; they fought in the Battle of the Bulge; they captured Hitler's Eagle's Nest. Also their whole unit suffered 150 casualties. The DVD set has ten episodes; it's more than ten hours long. It has several different extra features on the DVD set; such as an 80-minute documentary a 30-minute featurette of the making of the Band of Brothers. Again I think the most interesting thing is the interviews about the actual people. It's a very well done miniseries. I think that anyone that's interested in history or particularly in World War II history would find this very entertaining and somewhat educational. My son likes history and he watches parts of this too not like the very boring parts. But I think that's it's a very well done miniseries. It was also winner of the Golden Globe for Best Miniseries or Movie Made for TV. I think that it's very good entertaining movie.

An impressively rigorous, unsentimental, and harrowing look at combat during World War II, Band of Brothers follows a company of airborne infantry--Easy Company--from boot camp through the end of the war. The brutality of training takes the audience by increments to the even greater brutality...
