What's up guys? This is Josh Campbell again and this review is for Beatmania for the PS2 and what Beatmania is, is an interactive DJ game, which has been brought out by the makers of Konami. And on the screen there are little lines that go down the screen. And when it gets to the bottom of the screen, you are supposed to hit a designated button that's located on this controller. And this is the DJ controller and you have seven lines depending on which mode you play. There are two different modes. There is Beatmania and there is Beatmania 2D X. Now in Beatmania mode, you use five keys and a turntable. In the 2D X mode, there are seven keys. You use all seven keys in the turntable And the turntable has a designated section for a certain line that comes down when it hits the bottom you just scratch it and for these seven keys, it has designated section as well and when the lines get to that point, you want to hit the designated key for whatever line is coming down. And from - if you are doing it correctly the music will play correctly. Each of these represents a certain sound from the song that you are playing and if you are playing good, it will play the song perfectly. If you are off, it'll have some notes that are off and you can tell by the way you are playing. It has definitely over 50 songs to choose from, most of them Japanese based, but the music on there is definitely wonderful.
