We just purchase this because all blender had gone out to be honest this is our first time using it. We ve not used this since we got it. So basically it s just the other blender like you expect comes in a three parts. You got your rubber gasket there your blades and then the bottom part. All this screw in the bottom so far that s super impress by the quality of the plastic or anything that goes in there I already had a lot stronger one but will see how it goes. We did research to some consumer reports and they gave high rating for this one. So we ve got a lead today we are going to make a smoothie and I want you to bear with put that in but I will be making a smoothie and will see how it turns up. Ok so now we ve got to load up we are going to make fruit smoothie here. So we ve got basically just some grapes pineapple strawberries some oranges. Strawberries are frozen and will put an ice on top. To make our smoothie here so I m going to hit the pulse first and see how it does when we switches over to one of the extra modes to (inaudible). Looks good so far (inaudible) all right it looks that it chopped it up pretty well. Will pour it out and see how it looks. So we finish making the smoothie as you saw the last segment and we tried with the straw and everything comes through this straw fine so be honest with you we were happy with it. It didn t leak at all when I m having the smoothie in the blender there and it chopped it up very quickly and very well compared to the other blender that we have. We have actually had to stick a spoon down there kind of set while it s running of course. You try not to get the spoon kind of blade so I actually I got to say I m pretty impress with this one. It chopped the ice real quick barely had you noticed that you are chopping it. So as far as the blenders concern I think it will be a pretty good one. That s my review of the Braun Powermax 525 watt blender.
