    Pros: The packaging

    Cons: The pigmentation of the colors

    Bought this product at: CVS

    I don't like doing a smokey eye with cream shawdows, powder shawdos seem to work much better. This product isn't very pigmented and needs to be applied multiple times to get a real smokey eye effect. And I believe in order to get a good smokey eye you need to learn the technique of blending which this product doesn't teach you.

    Hi, I'm going to be reviewing Cover Girl ShadowBlast eye shadow and this is the purple plum shade. Overall, there's some features that I like about this product and dislike. First, I'm gonna demonstrate how to use the product. First, you just open the plum shade side and you put in on the center of your eyelid, then you open the other side, which is the brown shade that you're supposed to outline your eye in, so you just put on the top and the bottom. One thing I dislike about this product is I don't care for the brown shade. I really like the purple plum shade but I don't care for the other shade on here. Another thing I dislike about this product is that it is hard to outline your eye as indicated. It's hard to get a straight line and it often smudges. So overall I would give Cover Girl ShadowBlast Purple Plum three out of five stars coz while I really like the pink, this purple color, I don't care for the brown shade on this product.
