How long does the battery that comes with the Sony DCR-HC28 camera last before having to recharge?

The battery says that it lasts 100 minutes before needing to be recharged. It even counts down the minutes on the screen. I have not yet used it 100 minutes so I'm not sure if that's correct or now. I have only put about 45 minutes on the battery so far.

it really depends on how many feature you use on the camera as you record. if you use it to the full potential mine ran out at about 80 minutes, but regular use will last you 100 minutes of film
