Pros: Many modes to choose from., Display has sensor that turns it off when camera approaches your face., Battery has a good life
Cons: Better flash
OK, this camera has become another appendage for me. It ranks slightly lower than my family members in my estimation. I have found nothing that I cannot do with this little jewel. It takes fabulous pictures. You even get good shots from the auto mode, which I never use anymore. The flash has a tendency to blow out some pictures, but that is pretty much true of any built in flash, in my opinion. If you meter it down, it does OK most of the time. Otherwise, this camera is flawless, well nearly so.

Hi I m Tiffany and I m here reviewing the Canon Digital Rebel XTi 400D. I ve had this camera for a few months now and I absolutely love it. The on You have to be careful with the built-in flash because with any digital camera the built-in flash can often blow out your pictures so be really careful about that. It has all of your pre-set program modes your shutter speed priority mode aperture priority mode manual as well as your program mode and auto. What I love about this camera is that I knew nothing about photography when I got it. I was able to pull it out the box put it on auto and get some pretty decent shots. Of course the more you learn the better your shots get. One of the main features that I love about this camera is that the display screen is two and a half inches which is great. But the big thing that impacts me is that when I m taking a picture I don t like the bright light in my eye trying to take the picture. This has a sensor that turns off that display screen when your face approaches it and then it comes back on as you bring the camera away from your face. It does have all of your settings for your ISO your aperture your shutter speed and all that. I got mine with the kit lens which is great to start out with. Of course I hope to upgrade at some point. But the kit lens is really great and I got some terrific shots out of it. Let me show you a couple of the shots that I ve taken with this camera. I think that it s really really good. This is a shot of my daughter and a shot of my niece. Another one in this park and you can see how the water is frozen in midair. Then there s a black and white that I also did with this camera. All in all I love this camera. It s amazing. I recommend that if you re looking for a digital SLR and you re just starting out this is absolutely a tremendous tremendous camera So I hope you all invest in one.
