Hi my name is Mike and I'm here with another review. This is an electronics review and this is a spare battery for the Canon SD Series of cameras. This is a Canon Battery Pack NB-4L1 and this battery is 3.7 volts with a life of 760 milliamp hours and it's a lithium-ion battery. These batteries come with Canon cameras but they can also be bought separately. This one is bought separately for about $12. It's a little bigger than most laptop batteries also it looks like a Gameboy game it's long by an inch wide which is usually a little bigger but it's very thin it's only about an eighth of an inch thick. So it's very well protected [unintelligible] most batteries but it's okay. It has three little pins here for the connection and it slides right into your camera like this one fits really easily. The charger for this pretty small too plug it against the wall and these are great if you're going on a long vacation because with smaller cameras the batteries sometimes don't last long they may only last of a couple of days of heavy use. This one will last for a bout two days of heavy use but it's good to have like 2 or 3 of these batteries for a long vacation and you don't know whether you're going to get near a charging station or what do you need you don't even have electricity if you're in some countries a [unintelligible] may not be compatible with your device. So it's good to have a couple of these around especially when they weigh probably about as much as like three quarters. You can fit a couple of these in your pockets where they can slip really easily into your camera-holding case Great idea. This are lithium ion batteries you don't have to worry about memory effect happening. Memory effect is when you don't charge things and discharge them all the way the battery life gets shortened. That won't happen with this. The battery life will go down every time that [unintelligible] 25 a year but over a year it's not much of a drop and if it dies within 5 years $12 to replace it and you can have the same digital camera really it isn't a big deal. So overall I'm pretty happy with this battery I had about 2 years and the battery life is still pretty good and I definitely recommend it to anybody who has a Canon SD Series I camera. And this is the Canon brand [unintelligible] third party brands but it's nice to stick to the first party because you know it will work and you know if you'd have any problems Canon has a great Customer Support. So once again this is the Canon NB-4L Battery Pack and this is for the SD Series line of cameras.
