Hi Expo I m reviewing the Canon PowerShot A430. This is a 4-megapixel camera and it s more of a low-end camera if you re on a budget but it s made by Canon so that s a very good brand. It has a 4x optical zoom and it's a very compact camera. You can see the controls back here. You move this to go into your shooting modes and flip it over here to view your pictures. And the picture quality on this camera is pretty good but at 4 megapixels you can t crop them a lot compared to some newer higher end cameras. This does not have many manual features. I think it has exposure but you can t get into aperture and things like that. So if you re looking for a high end camera this is not your best bet. But if you re looking for something to take some snapshots but no major photography this is a great camera to look into. It does have an optical viewfinder which many cameras don t have these days so that s good. It also has one of my favorite features and that is called Super Macro and what this allows you to do it allows you to put your camera about one centimeter away from something and take an awesome macro picture of it. So I could take a picture of my camera lens if I wanted and put it about like that and it could still take a picture if it wasn t completely black. So it s a very nice feature but it s still not anything professional. This camera costs about $130 and it s a camera that I would suggest looking into if you re looking for something to take some snapshots and they will look okay but they won t look great. So I m going to take a picture of my camera. What I m going to do is you press the button on the top halfway to focus it click the rest of the way it takes the picture. It has a pretty quick response. Now I m gonna flip it over here and we can view the picture and it uses SD cards so that you can put them into your computer or your card reader if your computer doesn t have a built-in SD card reader or if you don t have a card reader you can use the included USB cable to hook the camera directly up to your computer and transfer pictures. So overall this is a good camera if you re looking for something low end to take snapshots of but for serious photography it s not your best bet.
