    Pros: LOVE the quality of pictures and video, LOVE the reasonable price on this camera, LOVE that it takes AA batteries, so I can have some spares in my camera bag!

    Cons: I do not like having the SD card in the same compartment as the batteries., It is alot smaller than the older powershot A-series, so is harder to grasp, Wish it had a flip open screen so I can see what I'm doing when I have to film myself!

    This is my review of the Canon Powershot A590IS, my awesome new camera! I start my video actually shooting with the camera, so you can see for yourself the great quality, as well as throw in a few pictures shot on the camera. It is a great camera, and I am glad that I decided to stick with the canon Powershot brand when I needed to upgrade.
