Press Pass the insider scoop on the latest and the greatest direct from the trade show floor. I'm Jen Cody for Expo TV. We're here at CES 2008 and I'm talking to Rob from Canon USA. He's gonna tell us a little bit about the PowerShot SD870. Rob: Well we have two PowerShot SD870 IS digital cameras. One of them comes in the silver and one comes in the black and really it's a style preference. Some people like silver some like black so we make that available to customers to let them customize what they want. Jen Cody: In case I want it to match my other accessories? Rob: Absolutely and maybe buy both you know you don't know what you're gonna wear one night. Jen Cody: Right even better. Rob: Absolutely for us too. They both feature a main megapixel sensor. They both feature three-inch LCD on the back which is really cool. Jen Cody: Wow that's a big screen. Rob: Absolutely and on a camera like this it really stands out. DIGIC III processor which allows us to put our face detection feature in which is a great thing and really popular in digital cameras nowadays where the camera recognizes faces particularly if you're taking pictures of them it'll lock in on those faces and make sure that everybody in the photograph up to nine faces is perfectly exposed and perfectly in focus. This camera is $349. Jen Cody: $349? And is it available now in stores? Rob: Widely available at some of the electronic stores photography stores of course and online. Jen Cody: Excellent.
