I am not sure what your question is here. I will try to tell you what I know about it.
Your camera will come with a cable that allows you to upload through a cable,like I do on my laptops. Or you can simply insert the SD card into the tower, mine has several slots, one is specific for the SD cards.
Either way I chose to upload it is like plug and play, it is very easy to use and walks you through the steps and can even delete the pictures on the SD card, but it will ask you first if you want it done that way.
