The Casio LK-90TV is a great keyboard to start out with.

Pros: Teaches, Light-up keys, Tones

Cons: Nothing

This keyboard's strong point is that it can teach you songs. Other than that it's a great keyboard with many tones and rhythms. It also includes a feature which allows you to do karaoke.
