    Pros: Tastes OK

Cons: More chocolate pieces, More peanuts, Dip some of the chex pieces in chocolate

This is a disappointment for me. The peanuts and chocolate pieces are few and far between. The chocolate chex are "dusted" with chocolate powder of some sort. It was not what I expected.

    Transcript of Video Review

Hi I'm Juli and this is a bag of a new variation on the Chex Mix. It's a little trial tasting bag that I've picked up at the counter check out counter on my way out. I though I'd give it a try. I love the original Chex Mix. This is chocolate Chex Mix Turtle and the turtle comes in because there's like a caramel there's a lot of caramel in it. This 4.5-ounce bag cost about $1.70. It was under $2. I'm sure the larger bag is more economical. It's advertised that it's 30 or 50 less fat than regular potato chips. It's got if you're familiar with the party mix it has your pretzel rings. This has honey roasted peanuts. This got you there's caramel Chex cereal and then there's a chocolate flavored Chex cereal. It kinda messes with your head if you're really used to the original Chex Mix or some of the party ones the cheddar flavored. Because these are sweet it's a little different. If you're familiar with Muddy Buddies the recipe that you make with chocolate and peanut butter it's similar to that the taste of the Chex cereals. It also has a little bit of caramel popcorn in there and some fake M&Ms which I haven't gotten to yet. They're must have all hauled into the bottom. But it's when I first started trying it out like ewww not so good don't really like it but it's one of those snack foods that the more you eat it the more you wanna eat it. So it's not bad. It's kind of a fine alternative for a Chex Mix and like I said it's the turtle brand or turtle-flavored and this advertises the perfect sweet and salty combination and it is. So it's got a salty pretzel rings in there then the sweet artificial flavored Chex thingies and the popcorn. So you might wanna give it a try.
