Hi I'm Julie and today I'm talking about some of our family's DVDs. This is a Columbia Pictures Christmas with the Kranks. It is rated PG and it's 99 minutes long. It stars Tim Allen Jamie Lee Curtis who are the parents of; they have one daughter Blair who is going off right after thanksgiving to join the Peace Corps. She won't be back until for a year so mom and dad are just terribly upset for sending their daughter away but dad comes up with an idea to let skip Christmas and go on a cruise. He talks his wife into this they prepare for the cruise they tell other friends and family that they're skipping Christmas this year which creates all kinds of animosity from the neighbors and co-workers and just before they're ready to leave for the cruise they get this unexpected call from Blair who's bringing home her new love who has asked her to marry him. And wants to introduce him to mom and dad and the wonderful elaborate Christmas that they have each year because he is not from the Unites States. And then it's the mad rush to try and create a Christmas in a matter of hours. It's fun my youngest daughter loves this and because she watches it year round I'm glad that it's a movie that we find enjoyable as well. It's comedic. It's fun it's a moving kind of movie. So if you don't have Christmas with the Kranks for your Christmas collection or just for fun to watch anytime I recommend it for anyone.
