Clay chips are >$1 each so 500 chips would be $500+. My friend had a plastic set and it was nice and hefty, we thought it was clay composite at first. Would you say this set is like that or is it VERY plastic feeling? Good review.

I think it's pretty plastic feeling but at first we thought they were clay so we broke one open to see and there is a metal disc in it to give it weight. So they are better than those really light plastic chips. But overall they feel like they are plastic and not clay.
