The carseat is very sturdy and durable. The buckles are a little hard to do. Cosco Summit Transpire Booster Seat,

Hi This is Tina. Thanks for tuning in. Today we are going to talk about the Summit car seat that is made by Costco Juvenile. This seat can range from the price range anywhere from $70 all the way up to $100. It has the five-point harness. It has the adjustable back on it. So as your kids grow the head cushion grows with them. There are a lot of features on this car seat that I like. And there are a lot of features that I don t like. Some of the features that I do like are that it does have an adjustable seat belt holder so that when your child moves from the five-point harness they can use this car seat just with the seatbelt. It has a nice cup holder here on the side that can extend out so that if you have two kids sitting next to each other they can share the cup holder. The seatbelt itself the five-point harness is somewhat easy except for the bottom. That is more like a puzzle piece that has to sit on top of each other and be held together before it snaps in. up until about six minutes ago my son turned four and a half. He wasn t able to do this by himself. And you know if you got more than one kid it is nice that they can do their own buckles. So he just recently learned to do it by himself. It is very difficult and frustrating sometimes. And then also it is somewhat difficult to get it unlatched as well. If you have grandparents who take your kids to and from preschool or to and from daycare to pick them up this is a little hard on You need a lot of strength in your hands to unbuckle this one. But it has buttons on the side that lift the armrest up. It has the reclining features so if you do have a smaller child I think it goes from zero to a hundred pounds. This car seat does. So it is nice for that reason. If you have a smaller infant and you have to have it rear-facing you can recline them and they can kind of sit like they would be like an infant carrier. It also does have the latch on the back so that you can hook it to the seat as well. So check out the Summit by Costco. I like it. It felt very safe with my kids in it. And it is very sturdy. And it has a lot of weight to it. Thanks and have a good day.
