They're stereo headphones. Each one is marked right and left to tell you which ear they go in. And that's about the only good thing about this. The little phone things that were on each one disintegrated and would not stay on little things properly. Even when they wore on these are very uncomfortable to wear on the ears. Something about the shape of them and as well as the relatively large size for ear bud earphones made them extremely uncomfortable to wear. It's basically -- they were fairly loud for their size. So what I ended up doing during the time I was using this was just turn the volume way up and just kind of leaving them either next to my ear or just sort of line next to me because they really weren't good for putting in your ear at all. They're uncomfortable and they tend to fall out a lot. There's really not a lot I can say to recommend this. The Creative the model was EP-480 and if I were you I would stay away from this model. Creative makes a lot of fine equipment for computers and for headphones and speakers and thinks like that. This however is one of them. Thanks
