Kevin Costner plays a soldier in the Civil war in the 1870's who singlehandedly mans a deserted post, and during that time becomes a part of the Lakota Sioux community who live nearby. His relationship with a white women Stands with a fist (Mary McDonnell) that has grown up with the Sioux is a great love story.

Hi This review is for the movie Dances with Wolves stars Kevin Costner and Mary McDonald. It is rated PG13 and it is a three-hour long movie. You can pick this up for around $10 or $12. I am going to show you a short clip and then I will tell you some of the story at the end. (From the movie) [Indiscernible] (Music) Are you hungry? Are you hungry? I have food. I have a lot of food. Yeah. This movie takes place during the Civil War and right after around 1870. It is about Lt. John Dunbar who has been put in a position of taking care of an abandoned fort way out in the middle of nowhere. And in the process he meets an Indian tribe that is nearby the Sioux Indian tribe. And eventually they take him to their camp where he meets a white woman that has been growing up with the tribe since she was a girl. And she does remember some English and because of this it gives him and the Indians a chance to be able to communicate. And then it is also a love story because he eventually has a relationship with the white woman who is called Stands With A Fist. And this is a really great movie three hours long but it goes by really quickly. It is great all the way through it. It doesn't leave you bored. It is one of my favorite movies and I really recommend it. Thanks.
