    Transcript of Video Review

Hi Today I'm reviewing the special edition DVD of the movie Die Hard 2-Die Harder. (movie clip) Die Hard 2 once again stars Bruce Willis as New York City cop John McClane. This time he is at Dulles International Airport near Washington D.C. The airport is taken over by terrorists led by a former U.S. Coronel played by William Sadler. The plot is similar to the first movie. This time instead of running around an office building John McClane is running around an entire airport trying to rescue it from terrorists. His wife is again held hostage. This time she is up in one of the many planes that are circling about to run out of fuel near Dallas and if the planes try to land they are going to get exploded by the terrorists and that's the basic plot of the movie. Once again it s fun to watch McClane trying to round around and stop the terrorists who always seem to be a little bit ahead of him like in the first movie. But this time he once again manages to outsmart even the most sophisticated terrorist. The special edition DVD is a really good DVD. The first disc contains commentary by the director. The second disc contains the making of Die Hard 2 documentary and making of featurette don ts profile featurette or deleted scenes an interview with the director several behind the scenes vignettes storyboard sequences trailers and visual effects breakdowns. The DVD isn't quite as good as the first Die Hard on DVD or the third Die Hard on DVD which actually give you a little more in depth featurettes. The movie itself is not nearly as good as the first the third or even the fourth which just came out this past year. Overall I gave the movie probably a three out of five stars and the DVD probably I'd say about a three also out of five stars. If you are a compledos (inaudible) and you do like the whole John McClane legacy I would definitely check it out but it's not quite on par with the first movie.

    Summary
On a snowy Christmas Eve in the nation's capital, a team of terrorists has seized a major international airport and now holds thousands of holiday travelers hostage. The terrorists, a renegade band of crack military commandos led by a murderous rogue officer (William Sadler), have come to rescue a drug lord from justice. They've prepared for every contingency except one: John McClane, an off-duty cop gripped with a feeling of deadly d j vu. Bruce Willis returns as the heroic cop who battles not only terrorists, but also an incompetent airport police chief (Dennis Franz), the hard-headed commander (John Amos) of the Army's anti-terrorist squad and a deadly winter snowstorm. The runways are littered with death and destruction, and McClane is in a race against time. His wife (Bonnie Bedelia) is trapped on one of the planes circling overhead, which is desperately low on fuel. System Requirements: Running Time 131 Min Format: DVD MOVIE
