Diffculty of Monkeyball?

Is Monkeyball Banana Blitz really easy to beat or is it difficult? I'm curious what the replay value is before I buy it.

Starts out pretty easy, but towards the end, the maps were pretty difficult in my opinion. They'll take many attempts to finish towards the end.
