Does the Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder come with an extension USB cord to connect the very short USB plug on the camera?

No it doesn't. Also the short connector is the worst thing about it. Because if you don't haveextra extension when you plug the camera in the little tab that sticks out is allways bending under all the weight of the camera. So at first appears as a cool feature turns into a downside.

No, it doesn't come with an extension USB cord. I would recommend getting one though because, as jblavit stated above, the weight of the camera will cause the built in USB connector to bend.
