This was actually a large concern of mine when I purchased the laptop. Fortunately, I can attest now to the fact that no, it never feels like that. It's actually very sturdy. I've picked mine up and carried it by the screen while open, and have accidently turned it the wrong was many times and have never had a problem at all.

After alot of use I would say there is some doubt of the screens strength. However, there is no need to work about it falling off as long as you purposely do not force it back and forth. Also, you can tighten the screws that secure the swivel to rest of the computer by simply removing the black plate that surrounds it. The best way to remove it is with a small flat head screwdriver and then simply tighten the screws. Even better, have a qualified technician tighten it for you!
