Does the container of the Swiffer Wet Mopping Cloths seal so the cloths stay fresh?

The container does not "seal" but it does stay on and keep the wipes fresh. But, you really have to make sure the lid is on the top properly because it can easily come off. Also, when you take the lid off it drips liquid everywhere so you need to be careful about doing that as well.
