I'm reviewing the Duo brand portable DVD player. We purchased this unit about a year ago from BestBuy for about $250.00. We wanted to spend a little bit more on a nicer quality model. We had had a single screen unit before this that we purchased from another store and that was quite cheaper made and we had a lot of problems with it and it finally broke after a year. And we knew it wouldn't affect, so we went to BestBuy and looked at what they had. And we chose this particular model because it seemed to be very high quality and we liked the fact that it came with two screens and they are 7 inch screens that's bigger than a lot of them that they have now, and the quality of the picture on these screens is excellent. This is great for children. We have a four-year old and when we travel, this keeps him very occupied. It comes with a lot of accessories. It comes with headphones which are great for the parent if you want to listen to radio while your child is watching TV. It comes with a power cord adaptor to use in the house. And if you want to use it inside, it has a nice little pop out stand so that you can set it on something to view it. It comes with the car adaptor unit. It comes with a small remote control, lot of features on the remote. It comes with a lot of different RCA cables, different connecting cables for it, for different things. We have found too that we can hook up my sons portable video games to this which is really nice. It also comes with leather holders for strapping them on the back of the headrest, one for each of the screens, very high quality; I think they'll last a long time. For the little fingers, it has a key lock button on the side, and on/off position. When the key lock is on, little fingers can touch the buttons and it won't stop the movie or do anything. So, if you have very little kids, that want to touch it, it won't stop the movie; very easy to operate. It has a power button, stop, play, fast forward, rewind, pause, slant to open it, push the open button, pop it open; very easy to put your movies in and all. And I do recommend purchasing if you purchase it from some place like BestBuy to get an extended service plan for these, since it's a little more expensive player, if it gets dropped or broke, stops playing videos or anything. We purchased the plan from BestBuy for four years. We figured that would take us through hopefully the life of the DVD player. And it was about $100.00 purchased extended service plan but I think it is very well worth it, especially when we have a small child that uses it. So, I definitely recommend this DVD player.
