Epson Stylus R320 Photo Printer

Reviewed on 01/27/08       Plays: 30

Epson Stylus R320 Photo Printer. Very disappointed in this item. Will not purchase another Epson printer. Will probably stick with HP. Ink very expensive and not sold as a set for a discounted price. Goes through a lot of ink even when printing just a text file. No troubleshooting available after 1 year warranty is up. Paper all of a sudden comes out blank when I try to print.

Hi Expo TV I'm Stephanie and I'm here to tell you about my Epson Stylus R320 Printer. This is printer that is especially made for photo printing you can also use it for regular documents but it's supposed to be a high quality for photo printing. It has an adjustable paper area right here so you can put in any size you need. This tray flips down and the picture or the paper comes out over here. It does have this nice feature with display and you know you can either plug your camera in or plug it in to a computer or you can use it as a stand alone printer and you could put your cards in here. And it will read your cards for you your pictures are displayed on the screen up here at the top. So it's got a lot of nice features. It also has a adopter here were you put in a try and you can actually burn your photos to a CD straight to a CD instead of printing them out. What a great features. So you would think it's a really great printer but to tell you the truth as you can see I don't even have it turned on. I've had it for a little over a year and all of a sudden it just doesn't print nothing comes out. Its takes 6 ink cartilages they're right inside here. There is five colored and one black and you know it has all this display light when your ink runs slow that you need to change it. So my light is already blinking and I change my ink and it kept blinking and I change the next thing until pretty soon I've change all my ink twice and still when print nothing comes out. I've called the Epson I've emailed. I have gotten no response. I was actually they did respond they told me to take it to an Epson service dealer which to be honest between the class of ink which is kind of high you might pay if you have to purchase it say that like Best Buy they only sell it individually. At least the Best Buy around me they don't have the 6-pack. I will go to a big re warehouse store and they also sell all 6-ink cartilages together and I pay around $70. So after I purchase two sets of 6-ink cartilages for $140 and I still have a printer that doesn't do anything I could tell you I could have purchase the new printer that will work. And I will tell you that I will have to go out and purchase a new photo printer because I do like to take a lot of pictures of the kids and family and I like to be able to print them myself it's really convenient to have a nice photo printer at home. But I guarantee you I won't be purchasing another Epson. So that's my review of the Epson printer and you know I would not highly recommend this at all. I was very disappointed with my results when I had a problem with it and you know that there's no solution. Epson's aren't made like some of the other printers were you can replace print head and do some stuff yourself. You pretty much you can replace ink cartilages and that's it and if that doesn't work take it to a service dealer which who know how much that will coast. I might as well just buy a new printer. Thanks Expo TV. 00:03:50:000
