This is Excel Saga Vol. 1: The Weirdness has begun. Excel Saga is often referred to as the Naked Gun of animate, the Monty Python, if you will, of animate -- mainly because it's so, it's so bizarre. You get 5 episodes on this volume. Each episode is around 24 minutes in length. You don't get very many extras. You get the clean opening, basically what you normally get on, on a DVD, on an animate DVD. The animation is really, really great, much better than I expected. The price on this that I'm holding right here on volume 1 is around $24, $26 maybe on Amazon.com. It's not bad; the price I mean the, the episode is really great. You need to watch it a couple of times for it to really hit you. It's a fantastic buy. If someone who you know loves animate, you should get them this, if they don't already have it and this is Excel Saga: The Weirdness has begun, Vol. 1. That's my review.
