Today I'm going to be reviewing the Fisher Price and the Sony Baby Monitors, just a quick comparison of the two. The nice thing about the Sony, this one, is that it's rechargeable so you can just plug it into the wall and you can carry this around with you wherever you want. The battery life on this thing is really good, it lasts days on one charge. 00:00:24 Plus it's got three different channels so you don't have to worry about your neighbor hearing you. This one is a little bit cheaper. This one's about $30 to $35. This one's probably about 60.99. So it's roughly half the price. This one takes batteries. You can't recharge it. And the base unit, eh -- it has 2 channels whereas the other one actually has 3 channels. 00:00:50 And the sound quality on this one is pretty good. This one, the Sony Babycall, is what I consider a better monitor. It actually has a voice activation on it so you can turn the voice activation on and it will only pick up noise if your baby makes a noise or something like that. 00:01:14 And you can turn the volume down, but you can also see it. The nice feature on the Fisher Price is it has a rather large view screen here. And this also will pick up noise. You can turn the volume down on this. And then you can see the light, it lights up as the noise gets increasing louder. So they both have their plusses and minuses. It just depends I guess on how much you want to use it. 00:01:37 I do like the rechargeablity feature on this. It's a very good feature to have. And I would tend to recommend the Sony Babycall Rechargeable Baby Monitor.
