Hi how are you doing today? Today I got kind of like a consumer warning about a product that usually I like the pretty stuff but I have a problem with this mouse right here I hold in my hand. Now obviously if you look around behind you don't see a computer. You know why that is? Because this doesn't work. There's no point having a computer 'cause even if it's plugged into the computer doesn't work. This is the wireless mouse a wireless optical mouse by GE. It's nice. In theory it works very well. You have this little USB connector here you plug at the back of the computer. It's got this little sensor that sits so you can save on top of your computer and then you got the mouse itself. There's little "on "switch right in the bottom here. What you do is you turn it on and you could see the red light flashing. There's a link button right up in here that you push that and what it does is that actually it links back to this in the computer and allows it to move. Well it worked great for say about maybe five hours of use. Battery is not the problem. The linking button just starts flashing. I've read through all the issues in the instruction manual and I've done everything they've said going on line and message boards. Nothing happens. This mouse is just pretty much a dead paperweight the second you have it plug in here. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. I've tried so many times. It's hard to think that I'm doing it wrong but I just wanna let everybody know that this wireless optical mouse by GE we bought ours at Home Depot. Maybe that's a clue. It wasn't actually a Best Buy or Circuit City. It was Home Depot. For $15.99 it was a good deal. We actually bought two for both of our computers. Well we only have one. I returned the other one immediately after this one started acting up so just wanna give you guys a heads up. Do not buy this product. The wireless optical mouse by GE. It's HO97990 it's the Model No. 98150.
