Hi, my name is John -- eh -- and today I am going to be reviewing the Tribute by G&L S-500 Guitar. It is a clear making guitar. Itâs made by G&L country -- eh -- the company G&L, which makes very high-end guitars, usually running $2000 or $3000. But they just started a brand called Tribute, which they make in Korea. Eh -- the guitar is much like a -- is lot like a thinner Stratocater except it has some upgrades from their economy model. Eh -- the -- the wood is solid small bash and has a really nice finish that allows you to see the grain and the grain's gorgeous and thatâs a part of the -- part of the beauty of the guitar and also the electronics are all American electronics and the guitar is also assembled in America which make it a worth a lot, the set ups a lot nicer than most of the Mexican made Strats you can be getting in other places. Eh -- the tone is phenomenal, -- eh -- the electronics, because they are such high quality, make the guitar sound like a million bucks. Eh -- I have another electric guitar that I have been playing for several years that costs almost 3 times as much. And I hands down prefer this one, the action in the neck was phenomenal, -- eh -- I had no flaws in mine. It stays into the eh -- itâs obviously well put together because the sustain is better than any Strat that I have played. Also the pick up configuration allows you to have a 7 way pick up configuration rather than 5, so it has a couple more sounds. Eh -- my only complain is that if you use the whammy really hard, then it will go out of tune. But other than that, itâs a -- a steal of a deal. And itâs my favorite new guitar and I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks
