Pros: seemed to get things clean

Cons: more fresh smell

Bought this product at: free sample

Gain seemed to work fine. The towels seem clean. That lack an over all super fresh smell.

Transcript of Featured Review

I just washed a little laundry with Gain. I have never used Gain before. But my first thought when I opened it was that it smelt a lot like some detergent that we used when we were living in France. That kind of took me back to that, which is kind of nice. The name of the scent that I used is Fresh Water Sparkle, which really worked for me. It smelt alright. I did a really hard load. I did the stinky towels and my husbands’ surgery workings scrubs. So it was a really rough load that I tried this out on. So it just taking that in the consideration gross little laundry. So I just got it done and I got all the towels. And I am little disappointed that it does not smell better, like it smells okay. I mean it does not stink or anything, but it does not have like a wonderful 'fresh out of the drier' smell which some things have. I typically use Tide, so I do not know that I would switch if I am trying, trying Gain. I am not sure that I would switch, because I kind of like the scent on my clothes and towels when I pull it out of the dryer. Now it really kind of smells like nothing so. But it seems, everything seems really clean. So anyway, I thought it was alright, I have used it. Maybe I mean I'll use it if somebody gave it to me, I don’t know that I would switch from what I typically use every day.
