Are you asking about brand new discs. If so then no. The problem would lie with your 360 drive. But there are multiple reasons why an old disc would not be playable. For one dirt and smudges. Since it is a DVD disc and not a blu ray it is more prone to disc and scratches. Also if the 360 was ever moved either from horizontal to vertical, or vice versa. Forget ever being able to play that game again. Due to bad drive manufacturing, all models, including the highest pricepoint, will completley shred the disc.
