This is my Pampered Chef Garlic Press. It is a nice heavy-weight metal. It is not made out of plastic like some other garlic presses are. To use it you just put the garlic clove right inside of here. You don t have to take the peel off. And this part right here smashes it for you. So it is really handy. I will demonstrate this using a small clove of garlic. You just put the clove in there. But it works good on big cloves too. And you squeeze. And as you can see the garlic comes right off the bottom. It is very simple. It is really easy to squeeze it. The weight of the garlic press actually does squeeze the garlic out. And when you are done using it it comes with this tool that you just put into it and it goes down in the hole. It pushes all the excess out. And I just rinse it under the tap and it is nice and clean and ready for your next use. Actually I have two garlic presses. But this one is my favorite. It is nice and heavy and it is easy to squeeze the garlic out. The other garlic press doesn t work as well if you leave the skin on the garlic. So you have to peel it and that is a step I don t want to do if I don t have to. And this one works just fine if you don t peel a garlic and I can do two or three cloves in here. And it works just fine. And it is also easy to clean with the little cleaner. So I really like this garlic press. And I will give it five out of five stars.
