Today as technology gets greater and greater and continues to expand and reach into our own personal lives, there is a certain device, a certain bundle device that you can buy today from Garmin, which are makers of GPS devices. They have produced a bundle package called the GPS 10 bundle package, and this here is the GPS 10 device. It is a Bluetooth enabled device that allows you to connect to your laptop through a Blue Tooth connection or through your Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 Operating System, which is like a palm-based device, but it's Microsoft operating system based. I use it with my pocket PC with Windows Mobile Version 2003. It does an excellent job. It comes with it's own software that works on the pocket PC and it synchronizes from the computer to the pocket PC so you can download maps and so forth. I have the whole southeastern portion of the United States on my pocket PC, and it's all, it only takes up about 200 MB of disc space on my pocket PC. When you buy the Garmin GPS 10 package, it will come in a small box; and it will contain a couple of items. It will have this device here. This is the actual GPS receiver, and it has a little button here that you can press to turn it on. And then you can see the little blue light begins to blink, and that way you can pair it with your device. Also, when you are using the pocket PC software, you are able to connect to the device by pressing this button, and then the pocket PC tries to search for it and find it. Also, another thing that comes in that box is the map software and setup. In this box you have your city select software, which is the mapping software produced by NavTech and released by Garmin for the laptops and for pocket PCs. It works on both a laptop and a pocket PC and you can also install it on your desktop if you are not intending to use your laptop. You do have to install it onto a PC, a Windows based PC in order to connect or to synchronize the map data with your pocket PC; but it does an excellent job. Some of the away points are not quite accurate. It may take you to the wrong spot from time to time and sometimes you have to be careful about that. But for the most part, you can put in any address; you can put in any location in the United States, and when you have that map data loaded on your software, this device will connect and direct you with your pocket PC or your laptop anywhere on the globe. It comes with a base map of the world, so you can go anywhere in the world; and if you have this device connected to either your laptop or your pocket PC you can know exactly where you are. You can buy a mount to go in your car to mount your pocket PC on so that you can use it to track your driving and give you directions. The software comes with a navigation package that allows you to create routes from one point to another, and it does a really good job. It doesn't replace the natural instinct of driving, but it does greatly help and assist you if you're trying to get to a certain location in a certain amount of time. So, I can highly recommend the Garmin GPS 10 package to you. It's for Blue Tooth enabled devices such as laptops or pocket PCs, and it comes with a great software package that will enable you to find where you need to go anywhere around the world.
