Hi I'm going to review the Garmin Nuvi 200 GPS device. This is meant for cars. It's really small which is perfect. It can fit on your dashboard it comes with a few attachments. Here's a suction cup which allows you to install your GPS to your windshield if you like. It also comes with an adaptor so that you can charge the device via your car. Now this is battery operated it's a rechargeable battery. But if you're going on a long trip it's nice to be able to charge it with the car charger. This does also have a SD card for pictures which I didn't necessarily find useful. But I'm sure someone out there would like that. This device is really quick at calculating routes. Everything's on the touch screen display. So right now we can go to Menu and we can either pick a location to go to or view the map. So right now we're viewing the map that's showing our current location. If we select a route here it will start telling us where to go. Now a few things I really like is it has advertised six million points of interest. So we can go here to Menu select where to go and we can go to points of interest right here. This allows us to see things like here you can see this has Shopping Food Fuel Transit Lodging. So if you click that it will start to find you like if you click Food right now it will start giving us a list of different food groups. So hit American so now it's going to start giving us a list of American food restaurants It sorts them by distance so we can find the place we want to go to. Click the name it's going to give us the address. Click Go and now it's going to start calculating route telling us where to go. So that's a really nice feature. So if you're just driving around an area you don't know you can just type that in. This also allows you to save Favorites so you can store friends' or family's house numbers in here and quickly get to that. I like the touch screen it works really well. The screen size overall is nice. There's a widescreen version of this which is slightly more and you know that would be a little bit nicer. But for the price this is still very easy to view. Another feature that I like is as you can tell right now it's daytime so the background is white. At night the background becomes black instead of staying white so that it's less distracting. The sound quality is really good; I've never had trouble understanding what to do and of course you can change the sound volume. The only feature that this lacks that would be nice is it doesn't tell you the name of the street you travel on. For a little bit more you can upgrade to that. But that wasn't worth it for me. So this one just tells you to you know "turn right at 300 feet" or something like that. That's really useful easy to understand and it also follows you on the map as you can see here. This little car indicates where we are and the arrow indicates where we need to go to start the route. So I've been very pleased. I've used this on a trip so far and it's really easy to use. So I would recommend for you the Nuvi 200 GPS device by Garmin.
