Very good product but could benefit from quicker startup and lags with satellite at times.

Today I'll be reviewing the Garmin Nuvi 350. As you can see this is a very compact model. The screen is about 3.5 inches. It's pretty easy to see. I'll boot it up. The power button is right here on the top just press that in. It usually turns on in about 30 seconds from the time you pressed that power button to the time the actual screen shows up. The buttons are pretty big. Brightness is very good. The volume on this is also very good; it's nice and loud. You can adjust both the brightness and the volume right from the touch screen menu. A little warning screen that shows up and there you go there's the buttons. You can hit the Where To button as you can see. You type in an address or you can use one of the pre-selected buttons and find the listing in your area; the Food the Lodging and Gas Stations that are available depending on where you're at. So it's good if you're lost or something like that. The antenna's on the back it kind of pops out like that. I'm indoors right now so I don't really need it. Like I said the power button's on top turn it off. It comes with a carrying case so you can take it with you when you leave the car put it in your pocket your pocket book. It comes with a car charger for your car obviously. It comes with a mount. You can either mount it with this on your windshield or you can mount it on your dashboard. One of my cons about this suction cup is that it kind of wore out. I think I took it off and on too much switching it between cars and that kind of wore it out. So it might have been my own fault but just a word of warning: it does wear out. Another con is that sometimes it takes a lot to find satellites. Usually the longest time is about three minutes depending on where you're at. If you drove a long distance away or something from your usual location then it takes a lot of re-finding satellites. But the battery life is very good on this. If it's plugged in the car charger the unit will shut off when you turn the car off automatically so you don't have to worry about it. Overall I think it's a great deal. I bought it when it first came out; it's a little bit more expensive. I believe now it's around $200 retail price so you can definitely get a good deal on this unit. Thank you very much.
