Good morning Expo TV today I will be reviewing the Garmin Nuvi 660. This is the previous year s model. You can tell that by having this antenna; this antenna is what receives the GPS. On the 2009 or 2008 model you do not have this it s just all flat. So obviously it does not look as cool. Okay basically you have one button the power button. On the side you have the mini-USB you have the earphones and you have the SD slot. On the bottom all you have is the thing to attach it. Then on the back you have another attaching slot and you have some microphones or your headphones. So here you are acquiring satellites and it shows the picture of what satellites it s looking for. I think it may not interest a lot of people but it interests me a lot. So here s the main page: Where To View Map Travel Kit Settings and Sound Options. What s nice about this is you can turn on FM frequency you can have Audible Books on here. So it s like an FM transmitter which is really nice. You can include Where To and you have all this address; Go Home Food I marvel at the span of this; it has everything on it everything. I have a navigation system in the car. It does not have anything. Let s say you want to find like a golf course it might not have a golf course. This has everything. Canoe place an ice cream spot it has it. You don t even need to find an address. You just find it in here. What could I think? Okay we want to go to Missing Links Golf Course. You just can find anything in the world; it s incredible. We re gonna go to Recreation - Golf Course and it ll come up with the ones right around you. It has this keypad right here. I do one thing I would change I would show is QWERTY. It s ABCDEFG format which is weak and it shouldn t be like that. I m sure that will be changed in the future because that one s changing to QWERTY (which is like the regular keypad if you re not aware of what QWERTY is). Makes it a little harder to use but very easy still. When you get in okay we wanted to go home. See obviously it s acquiring satellites because we re inside. But it normally always has a satellite which is really nice. When it s night it goes dark which kind of gets you into the mood. On here there s the speed at which you re going which is extremely accurate. Then it has the actual miles and you can zoom in zoom out. This goes back to the Main Menu we can Start or Detour. These settings it s basically like what you think you can change on it your guides you can change. You could always restore it which is nice. Let me just go back. So another thing that I d like to point out is you can change it to the audio output. You want internal speaker or you want an FM transmitter. That is very nice because Travel Kit you have an MP3 player on here Audible Book Page Reviewer Calculator World Clock Guide Saver s Guide Travel Guide Language Guide. You have everything on here when you re traveling. You don t need a book it has everything. You can be like in one place to stay and it will tell you where you want to find the national park you want to find out what s in the national park. The one thing though is the voices. They kind of make me want to shoot myself in the head. But I think there s nothing you can do about that. So I think you have to deal with the voices or you can turn the voices off which is really nice. That is my review of the Garmin Nuvi. I recommend this to anyone who is traveling a lot who is a salesperson. If you don t use it a lot you could get a smaller version which I would say is about this big of a screen or that big. It s perfect for like the teenager college student who needs to get to friends houses but you don t need this big one. It doesn t have all of the features like Audible Book MP3 Player Travel Guide. It doesn t have the books which this one does. In it really you just plug in the address or anything the Hotel Recreation. Thank you.
