Good evening Welcome to another special episode of Expo TV. My name is Hans and I am gonna bring you another excellent electronic product. This time I'm gonna bring you a laptop. This particular brand is made this PC is made by Gateway. This is not on the surface it might look like an ordinary laptop right? Well in this particular one the screen opens and it rotates and as you fly down it becomes a tablet PC so this type of laptop or notebook has about three different names. One's called a laptop a regular laptop. Another name is convertible notebook. A third name which is a real name I think it is the real name it's called the Tablet PC. It is the model number M280E so what so how is this from a regular laptop? This particular laptop comes with a pen which will be nicely built in here in the front okay and do not lose this pen because this is a very very expensive pen to replace so you just lock it right in here. Just to quickly go over what it all comes with it comes with an Intel CPU with 1 GB of memory. It is in the front you have the microphone port and the headphone port which is very very useful. This can also be used as an external audio if you have a speaker. I use this laptop to DJ so I use that a lot to extend the audio to the speakers. Over here that's a printer cable port. That's another external monitor port that is a modem. No actually I believe that's a Net RJ-45 cable where you plug in the network cable. That is two USB ports. That is a firewall cable you can plug in there and that is for a smaller cable. I'm not sure what that is but and this is where you plug in the card. On the other side we have a DVD ROM. It plays DVD. It writes CDs and CD-Ws and you play DVDs. Unfortunately this particular one I got when I got it it does not have the DVD-D writing feature so that's kind of a shame and here is the modem. This is where you plug in the modem. As you open this puppies up it's very easy to open you go you will go very very fly as you can see very nice key actions very nice layout keyboard okay just regular buttons here. It does not have the little button like the other laptop to navigate. I wish they had and if you wonder where the battery is it's actually the battery is a handle just like a handle in the side. Where you can see this rubber part is actually the battery so it kinda plays two roles where you hold it like this you can grab it and but also you can see a battery and this thing is not very light so on the monitor itself if you slip back like this and you lock this in. There's a couple of buttons here I wanna go over quickly with you guys. This is the button where you flip screens. You can have a screen horizontally or vertically. You can basically flip four different ways. This is the key that you lock. This will automatically bring up the menu selections. This is the one that actually pops up the another window so very very easy access keys. Here's the lock buttons where you can lock the power and of course here is the power button and what I like about this tablet the reason I bought it myself is you can take out this pen here and you can write on it basically. I am I know the language of the Chinese. You can actually write Chinese in here and you would take that to input into a letter you know a Word document you can email it automatically does that for you. The older method which we're using to paint which we spell the sound of words and choose a character that takes forever and this thing where you can write Chinese characters you automatically put them there. I'm also a real estate agent where I can have to scan a contract I just have to fill out the blanks and this thing will automatically imprint that whatever I'm writing on the contract into the file. Instead of carrying tons of papers around with me all I have to do is carry this puppy with me at all time to close the deal. Another thing that I know in fact people are using is a lot of university students use this to take notes. It does have a microphone where you record the sound as well that is built in in this tablet PC and you can record in the lecture and if you have the text in your pdf format or any image format you can actually take your notes right on the book itself which is another excellent feature. Those are the greatest features I really love about this laptop or tablet PC but just a couple of things I really don't like about this thing is that the fact the battery it goes out I think with a year of using I will need to replace a new battery. Right now it will not turn on until I plug in the power cord and that was kind of a downfall. It is not as light as I would like to. It's very kind of heavy to carry around. If you hold this thing for a long period your hands might be getting numb so out of a star of five I would have to give this thing a four out of five star rating.
