Hello, hey I'm John and I'm here to review the Haier 5200 BTU Air Conditioner. It's got 10 different cooling settings on it high speed, low speed, fan and a on and off switch which is good. It's a 120-volt air conditioner, so you don't need one of those really huge monster plugs. It's got the filter right there in front for easy access. It comes with these bent things so you can put those on the side of your windows, but they're kind of hard to install if you have a metal window. So you may have to jimmy rig it a little bit. Installation was somewhat easy and had no pro but it was easy enough I suppose. The bad points about it is I think that it's got kind of cheap plastic construction, like if it'd fall out the window it would smash into smithereens. And it only cools about one room, but that's what it's supposed to do and it does a pretty decent job of it. But just to cool one room it seems like you have to keep it on 24/7. So overall I give it probably a three out of five stars.
Hello. i just bought this same model, open it up and try it to see if it works. I turned it on and wow the compressor makes a lot of noise. Is it normal for the compressor to be all noisy? If so, does the noise stays outside once you installed...
